Police have said that they received reports of 19 cases of domestic violence during the first ten days of Ramadan.

Alongside these, 19 cases of domestic violence, 15 cases of sexual abuse and 16 cases of child sexual abuse were also reported in this period.
Police further said that 38 cases of intimidation, 7 cases of cyber crime, and 70 cases of scams were also reported.
153 accidents were reported, as well as 110 drug related offences, 147 cases of robbery and 8 cases of mugging.
Crime rates are higher this year compared to last year in the same period, where 101 robbery cases and 86 accidents were recorded.
