Maldives and Bangladesh signed three key agreements and Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) on Thursday.
These agreements were signed between the two nations after the meetings held in President's Office between President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina to discuss national affairs as matters.
- Recruiting qualified health professionals
- Renewing previous agreements made regarding health services and medical science
- MoU on supporting youth and sports development of both nations
- Agreement to eliminate double taxation
The two agreements regarding qualified health professionals and renewing previous agreements made regarding health service and medical sciences were signed by the respective health minister of each country. Minister Ahmed Naseem signed on behalf of Maldives while Zahid Malik signed on behalf of Bangladesh.
