He highlighted China's strides in science and technology, including the commercial service entry of the C919 airliner, successful trials of a Chinese-built large cruise ship, ongoing space missions of the Shenzhou spaceships, and the deep-sea manned submersible Fendouzhe reaching the ocean trench's deepest point.
President Xi drew inspiration from China's rich history and civilization as the source of the people's confidence and strength.
In terms of improving livelihoods, President Xi acknowledged the contributions of Chinese citizens and reiterated the government's top priority in addressing issues related to children, youth, and the elderly, emphasizing the government's commitment to addressing citizens' needs.
On the global front, President Xi underscored China's responsibility as a major country, citing diplomatic events like the China-Central Asia Summit and the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. He expressed the nation's dedication to opening up to the world, sharing development experiences, and contributing to human civilization's progress.
