The government has decided to enforce policies that ascertain school activities are centered around Islam and Dhivehi nationalism.

Public Policy Secretary of Presidential Office Abdulla Azim, said in a press release that the Social Council has decided to enforce policies disciplining school activities to be mindful of the Maldivian culture and Islamic guidelines.
