Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has decided to hold a special draw to give away cash prizes of MVR 5,000 to five winners under their "Boalha Foari" campaign.
Two large outdoor screen were set up in two locations of Hulhumalé to view the World Cup matches with the purpose of fostering community spirit.
The lucky draw, held in collaboration with Media Net, will select winners among those who visit the location to watch the final match.
HDC has held many activities under the "Boalha Foari" World Cup campaign, which included a children's evening as well.
The "Boalha Foari" campaign saw two of the largest LED screens ever installed in the country in the fan zones built by HDC in Hulhumalé phases 1 and 2.
The LED screens measuring 20 feet by 40 feet were installed in the Hulhumalé Synthetic Track in phase 1and near the Hiya Housing flats in Hulhumalé phase 2. Both these locations see a number of visitors during match hours.
The final match of World Cup 2022 will be held Sunday night, December 18.
