Health Protection Agency on Thursday predicted influenza outbreak and urged citizens to take precaution and get vaccinated.
The statement released by HPA stated that as per the statistics from the past two years, there is a high chance of an outbreak.
Additionally, the agency stressed the importance of getting vaccinated annually, as a precaution.
Since the virus responsible for influenza undergo changes every year, the vaccine against this disease get upgrades every six months.
Pregnant women
People getting treatment for long term disease
Cancer patients, even those who have finished treatment
Dialysis patients
Senior citizens about 65 years
Children aged between 6 months to six years
The vaccine against Influenza is available from ADK Pharmacy and State Trading Organization's Pharmacy.
