Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives introduced Amazon Prime Video services in Maldives on Thursday night.
Amazon Prime Video is available to all Ooredoo Mobile Postpaid and Fixed Broadband customers, at a monthly rate of MVR 49 for the first six months with a 7-day free trial.
The company also offers a Prime Video membership with 5GB mobile data, for a rate of MVR 191 per month.
Ooredoo customers can sign-up to the service via the Ooredoo mobile app and website, as well as the SuperNet Portal.
“Digital has greatly transformed the ways through which we enjoy entertainment. As more and more of our customers are turning to the internet for TV shows, movies, music and more, our engagement with Amazon greatly eases access to the award winning selection of entertainment on Prime Video for the people of Maldives. We will continue to partner with local and international brands to support the digital lifestyle of our customers," stated Ooredoo in a press release.
Amazon Prime Video is a popular entertainment service that provides thousands of movies, series, and critically acclaimed and award-winning Prime Original content for streaming or download. Some of the notable series available on Amazon Prime Video include Jack Ryan, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Man in the High Castle, Homecoming, The Grand Tour and more.
