The application process for Vinares flats via the online portal has been temporarily delayed due to technical difficulties that emerged when the submission window opened yesterday.

Urbanco issued a statement late last night, acknowledging that they had initiated the online application process for the Vinares flats but encountered multiple technical glitches when the applications began. The corporation received numerous complaints from users who were unable to access the portal.

"Given the substantial volume of complaints and our ongoing investigation into the issue, we have decided to temporarily suspend the submission process for apartment purchases through the online portal," stated the corporation in their release.

On the opening day, some individuals took between 20 to 30 minutes to upload their documents to the Vinares portal, while others experienced several hours of inaccessibility. For some, the form submission process was extended.

Urbanco has indicated that they will announce a new date for the resumption of apartment purchases from the Vinares project once the technical issues with the portal have been resolved. For further information, individuals can contact Urbanco's hotline at 1516.

Urbanco initially opened Vinares Flat purchases yesterday around 10 am, and the flats were sold out within thirty minutes. The corporation plans to reopen today only for those flats that were canceled due to incomplete document submissions from the previous day.

Vinares is a housing project comprising 1,344 three-room flats, including ten 13-storey towers. Approximately 120 flats were made available on the opening day, leaving 1,063 flats in various stages of processing, with only 281 having been booked. No additional flats were displayed on the portal.

Vinares flats can be obtained through lump sum payments or lease-to-rent arrangements, with long-term rental periods spanning 20 to 25 years.
