NBAM concludes the 7th Maldives Marine Expo 2022

Since its foundation in 2007, the National Boating Association of the Maldives (NBAM) has represented the country's boating-related tourism sector (formerly known as Liveaboard Association of Maldives). The objective being to unite all industry stakeholders to work together to promote and grow the sector in a sustainable way, run safety and training programs pertinent to the sector, advocate for the sector with the government and businesses, and concentrate on other industry-related development issues.

The 7th Edition of Maldives Marine Expo (MME) 2022 was the largest marine industry exhibition in the Maldives thanks to the participation of both international and local firms as sponsors and partners organized by Medium Pvt Ltd. MME 2022 proudly holds the status of the largest marine industry expo in the Maldives, with over 35 signatories.

With more than ten years of development work, NBAM now annually conducts Maldives Maritime Expo, the biggest business exhibition in the Maldives, as a standardised platform and marketplace for marine sector enterprises. While the Maldives Boating Awards annually honour the best goods and services in the marine industry. In order to strengthen the marine industry's brands and businesses, NBAM also focuses on capacity building initiatives and holds yearly business and safety training.

The Maldives Marine Expo, the longest-running maritime event, attracts all major marine industry brands every year and offers possibilities for interaction, networking, and idea sharing. This year’s MME was set up in Hulhumalé Central Park with 67 participants in total.
