Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has participated in the Riyadh Travel Fair 2022 held from 22nd to 24th May.
The travel fair, one of the largest such events with an acute focus on the Middle-Eastern travel trades and travel markets was held at the titular destination, Saudi Arabia.
The fair, held annually pulls some of the biggest names in the global travel and tourism scene that includes Saudi local businesses as well as GCC players and other global stakeholders.

Much like every other travel trade event where MMPRC showcased the island nation's tourism industry, Maldives was promoted as a tourism safe haven with its unique geographical landscape ensuring privacy, safety and natural social distancing.
The industry partners shared their respective services, travel packages, and various other offers to the Middle-Eastern travel market to attract prospective and affluent travelers alike.
Moreover, MMPRC's participation in the event is part of the tourism promoter's marketing strategy of boosting destination momentum and popularity in the Middle-Eastern countries.
The region has been growing steadily as a tourism market to the island nation in recent years, while in 2021 a total of 91,413 arrivals were reported of arriving in Maldives from the region.
