Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), on Wednesday, announced that Indian healthcare authorities commenced the process of accrediting its services.
National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers (NABH), as well the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), will assess IGMH during the accreditation process.
The efforts, led by one of India’s largest healthcare consultancy providers, ACME Consulting, will include auditing and overseeing IGMH's services and equipment to ensure that the hospital complies with guidelines.
NABH and NABL guidelines are in accordance with the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), an organization which grants approval to accreditation bodies in the area of healthcare.
