Laiba collects medals in two events of the Armenian Youth tournaments

Laiba has achieved a silver and bronze medal at the U13 Armenian Youth Open 2024 tournament. She advanced to the finals in the Female Doubles event and had faced defeat at the semifinals of the Mixed Doubles event.

Laiba Ahmed Mahloof has achieved medals in two Doubles events of the Under 13 Armenian Youth Open 2024 tournament.

Laiba and her doubles partner, Katherine from Cyprus had advanced to the finals of the Female Doubles event in this tournament that is also included in the European badminton junior calendar after triumphing the semi finals in just two sets.

The pair set against these two in the finals were the first ranking pair for Bulgaria's Under 13 Doubles. Laiba and Katherine had lost to this pair with a score of 21-13 and 21-12.

Laiba and her pair, Mark from Armenia had also acquired a bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles event after proceeding to the semifinals.

The two had secured their slot in the semifinals after triumphing over Narek and Gayane of Armenia in the quarterfinals match, 21-14 to 21-12.

However the pair faced defeat in the semifinals at the hands of the national champion pair of Bulgaria's Under 13 Mixed Doubles.

Former Minister of Youth, Sports & CE, Ahmed Mahloof's daughter, Laiba presently has a collection of eight medals acquired from international competitions. This includes three silver medals and five bronze medals.
