The league round of the Baa Zone Championship in the Dhiraagu Tekkers Resort Futsal Cup 2024 concluded with five teams participating. Nautilus Maldives, Dusit Thani Maldives, and Milaidhoo Island Maldives all finished with nine points, each winning three out of four matches.
However, Nautilus Maldives, with a higher goal difference, advanced directly to the finals.
Meanwhile, Dusit Thani Maldives, who finished second, and Milaidhoo Island Maldives, who placed third, are set to face off in the semifinals tomorrow evening.
The Baa Zone Championships are held at Royal Island Maldives Resort. Royal Island did not secure any points in the league round, while Soneva Fushi, the fifth participant, finished in fourth place with three points.
The reigning champions of the previous Baa Zone Championships, held last year, were Milaidhoo, who claimed its win by defeating Soneva Fushi in the finals.
