Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has said that they will be operating their buses till 01:00hrs tonight to shuttle people from the airport to Male'.
With the continuous rain causing heavy flooding in Male', it has become difficult to operate taxis. As a result, there was heavy crowding at the Velana International Airport with many returning from holidays and Umrah pilgrimage ending up stranded at the airport.
