The registration window for the fifth program of 'Girls to Code' to be held in Haa Alif atoll Dhidhdhoo together with Dhiraagu and Women in Tech Maldives has been opened.
The registration window for the fifth program of 'Girls to Code' to be held in Haa Alif atoll Dhidhdhoo together with Dhiraagu and Women in Tech Maldives has now been opened.
Dhiraagu stated that the registration window for this program was extended in approach of the upcoming International Girls in ICT Day.
Applicants can register for the program arranged to take place in Ha. Dhidhdhoo through the online form to be found at https://bit.ly/4aMNRqp
While the registration window is extended until the end of May 28, the program allows female participants aged 10 to 13 attending middle and secondary level school into it. The program will further give precedence to children lacking prior knowledge in coding information during the selection process.
Classes of this program will be commenced during the end of June until the end of September.
Initiated by Dhiraagu and Women in Tech Maldives, Girls to Code program is aimed at teaching young girls the knowledge of coding. Dhiraagu stated that the purpose of this program is to create an interest for technology in young girls and increase female participation in the field of technology.
This program opens opportunities for participants to hone skills in coding and digital information alike.
