While the new academic year will kick off next month, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu had incorporated a new separate subject into next year's syllabus; 'Nationalism', accordingly with his presidential pledge.
The President has previously explained that this subject was introduced for the aim of creating love for the nation in the hearts of little children. He had asserted that the nation can only be developed once the people progresses their line of thinking and affirmed that the students will be taught discipline and manners with the inclusion of 'Nationalism' as a subject into the curriculum.
