Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation Abdulla Rafiu has announced that twenty volleyball coaches from across the Maldives will be sent to China for training.
Under an agreement made with China to develop individuals in the field of sports, twenty volleyball coaches will be traveling to China this month for further training.
At the press conference held last Tuesday at the President's Office, the minister said that the expenses of training these twenty coaches will be covered by China.
He stated that agreements will be made with other countries as well to offer trainings to people in sports, including an upcoming agreements with Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
