Facing a significant financial crisis, the association had opened applications for 13 technical roles on an international platform last month. The deadline to apply for these positions, advertised on 'Jobs for Football', is May 13.
The association expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response received within three weeks for the technical positions at FAM, considering it a significant boost to their efforts in football development.
In a statement shared on social media, the association remarked, "This response highlights the global eagerness to join FAM's forward-looking journey to enhance football standards and bring positive change."
Paul Thomas Smalley, the Technical Director of the association, expressed delight at the multitude of international applications received.
Despite announcing numerous positions, FAM faced setbacks due to delays in receiving FIFA's development funds from the governing body. This resulted in a substantial backlog of unpaid salaries until last month. However, a USD 381,000 payment from FIFA to FAM has significantly alleviated the salary backlog.
