Five people have been injured in a fight between a group of foreigners on a boat at the TGT area in Malé city.
The police said they received the report of the incident at around 4:50 p.m. this evening.
According to the police, a group of foreigners were arrested in connection with a fight that took place in the capital city; they did not officially reveal the number of people that were arrested. However, they said five people sustained various injuries in the fight.
A video of the incident circulating on social media shows a group of people on two boats that were close by attacking each other using brooms and other equipment on the boats.
The cause of the fight is still unknown.
The police are now investigating the matter.
