Man wounded from a violent attack in Seenu atoll Feydhoo passed away on Thursday while being treated for his wounds.
A police media official said that a 21 year old man was injured in the attack in Feydhoo around 3:10 am in the morning. The young man passed away while being treated at the intensive care unit of the Addu Hospital.
The hospital said the man was stabbed in the back and as the wound ran deep, it had affected his chest as well.
A 19 year old man had been taken to Addu Equatorial Hospital on May 24, also in an another attack in Feydhoo. The man had been beaten, and blood had seeped into his brain as well. He was brought to Male' for further medical treatment yesterday.
Police has said they believe there is a connection to drugs and the attacks happening in Addu. They said they were investigating the cases further.
