Villa College Partners with Huawei ICT Academy for Smart Classroom Initiative

Huawei ICT Academy has entered into an agreement with Villa College to provide essential ICT support.

On behalf of Villa College the agreement was signed by Villa Rector Dr. Ahmed Anwar. Huawei Maldives Head Chen Keyang signed on behalf of Huawei ICT Academy.

Within the framework of this collaboration, the Huawei ICT Academy will take a key role in installing advanced smart classrooms at Villa College, employing cutting-edge technology to enhance the learning experience. These smart classrooms are poised to cultivate efficient and engaging learning environments.

Villa College believes that these modernized classrooms will not only capture students' interest but also elevate the overall quality of education, thereby enhancing academic performance. In addition, the expanded teaching facilities will empower educators, saving both time and cost.

During the signing ceremony, Nizna Ali Didi, Director of Marketing and Communications at Villa College, expressed the institution's commitment to exploring innovative educational approaches. She emphasized that the partnership with Huawei Academy aligns with Villa College's dedication to integrating modern advancements into its educational framework.

As part of the collaborative efforts, a panel discussion was conducted at Villa College during the signing ceremony. The panel included Indika De Souza, Strategic Advisor and Vice President of Huawei Technologies Sri Lanka, Educational Technology Specialist Dr. Ibrahim Waheed, Lecturer Hussain Naushad and Associate Member of Women in Tech Maldives, and Lead Data Specialist at Tradenet Maldives Company Limited, Mihna Zahir.
