The new schedule includes flights on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Previously the airline had a schedule of four flights a week to the destination.
Maldivian Airlines also operates flights from Hanimaadhoo Airport to Trivandrum every Monday and Friday.
According to the airline, the decision to increase flights was taken to meet the increasing demand for the destination and to provide easy, convenient travel whenever required.
Trivandrum is one of the most popular destinations for medical treatment for Maldivians.
