Dhiraagu has begun their 'ThaashibariMovement' this Ramadan by gifting 'Thashibari' to local citizens the Dhiraagu team encounters on the streets in conformity of the theme the company has set for this Ramadan, 'Heyohithun'.
The 'Thashibari Movement' hashtag of Dhiraagu observed a pleasant scene this Ramadan; photographs of civilians holding the delicacy-filled 'thashibari' [tiffin carriers] gifted by members of the Dhiraagu team. Each picture portrays a smile endorsed by this act of good faith by Dhiraagu.
This year's Thashibari movement was begun with the gifting of Thashibari to various civilians who encountered the company's team on the streets. Contrary to past years, this movement was begun on the streets to encourage gifting Thashibari to strangers in good faith under the 'Heyohithun' theme determined by Dhiraagu for this Ramadan, which translates to 'Good Faith'. The company hopes to promote inclusivity in the community and strengthen communal bonds with small activities such as this.
Dhiraagu began this movement under the name 'Thashibari Movement' in the year 2018. After virally circulating this activity on social media for two consecutive years, the movement was halted in 2020 due to Covid-19.
This activity was recommenced last year after its Covid-19 induced hiatus. The company began the movement last year to encourage exchange of mothers' recipes to friends with felicitations from the mothers in relation to their distinctive annual theme. Many had partook this activity by Dhiraagu with blessings from their mothers.
Dhiraagu is the first company to begin this movement and proceed it over a wide scale. The purpose of this activity is to relive the sentiments of the exchange of 'Thashibari' from one household to another practiced years ago during Ramadan. The message imparted by the company with this activity this Ramadan is to do things for each other in good faith.
