New Radiant, which had previously competed at the top level until 2018, faced relegation due to suspension. After their return to the second division in 2022, they reached the semi-finals but lost on penalties.
New Radiant displayed an impressive performance at Galolhu Stadium, scoring six goals in the first half of their match. Ismail Vifaq took the lead in the fourth minute, followed by Umarjanov Akror's goal three minutes later. Kofi Owusu netted New Radiant's third and fourth goals in the 16th and 25th minutes, respectively, while Umarjanov added the fifth goal 10 minutes later with a close-range header.
Shortly before the first-half conclusion, Abu Sanunu contributed New Radiant's sixth goal. In the fifth minute of the second half, Sanunu scored his second goal, and Adam Shiyan Mohamed sealed the victory with the final goal in the 75th minute.

The team secured their spot in the quarter-finals with a 4-0 win over BG Sports Club, and they finished the group stage on a high note by defeating Tent Sports Club 4-1, claiming the top spot in the competing group.
