Vakkaru Maldives resort introduced a Work Well Programme, designed to provide a workation that fulfils guests' needs through a range of complimentary offerings.
With the service of a dedicated personal assistant, a bespoke fitness and nutritional programme, tailored recreational activities and an Ocean Office set-up, the Work Well package is aimed towards remote workers that want to achieve professional and personal progress in spite of the unprecedented global situation.
Available to guests who book a stay at Vakkaru Maldives for 21 days or longer, each Work Well residency includes a complimentary upgrade to a larger villa with a specially decorated study, which will be equipped with a printer and office supplies.
Guests can call on their personal Vacay PA to help with daily tasks as well as confirming flight arrangements, managing schedules and assisting with the organisation of meetings. Vacay PAs can also move the work set up from a private study to an outdoor Ocean Office with WiFi, if guests request a change of scene.
In order to support Work Well Guests achieve their personal wellbeing goals in addition to business targets, Vakkaru will offer a customized fitness programme. Developed in collaboration with the resort’s wellness team, the programme will include up to one hour of complimentary personal training, meditation or yoga per day, as well as tennis-coaching sessions by world-class coaches from Tipsarevic Luxury Tennis.
Additionally, a Brain and Body Fuel pick-me-up, consisting of healthy snacks and drinks, will be provided to Work Well guests every afternoon. The offered items might include mini fruit kebabs, oatmeal and peanut butter cookies, homemade granola or vegan smoothies made with berries, banana, coconut milk and honey. Vakkaru’s chefs can also prepare larger off-menu room-service dishes for convenient deskside dining on busier workdays.
Colleagues booking the Work Well offering in a group can convene for workshops and brainstorming sessions at their own Beach Boardroom, a meeting quarter located on Vakkaru’s white-sand beach.
In addition to fulfilling professional requirements, Vakkaru Maldives offers numerous recreational activities for relaxation purposes. Guests can participate in PADI diving courses offered by the resort's dive centre Splash to enjoy the vibrant marine life of Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve within which Vakkaru Maldives is located. A range of cooking classes, including a farm-to-table immersion held in the resort’s organic garden, will also be available for guests. Dolphin and Manta ray-watching cruises, family film nights with popcorn and homemade ice cream as well as family sports days can be arranged by Vacay PA's in order to keep families entertained.
While all amenities under the Work Well package are available on a complimentary basis for bookings lasting 21 days or longer, the programme can currently be combined with Vakkaru Maldives' Escape Awaits reopening offer which provides a 40 percent discount on accommodation, complimentary return transfers, daily breakfast and dinner, a complimentary spa treatment at overwater Merana Spa and other extra services.
