No basic services reduced for any inmates in prison: Corrections

The Maldives Correctional Service stated today that no basic services have been suspended for any inmates in prisons.

In a post made on X (formerly Twitter), Corrections said that while some prison rules have been changed to ensure prison safety and security and to strengthen operations, no essential benefits or services that should be provided to inmates and detainees have been reduced.
