The Police website said that in these efforts started last night by Hulhumale' Traffic Police Department, 10 vehicles have been towed so far.
They said that unregistered vehicles on Hulhumale' streets will be towed even in the future, and parked vehicles will be checked to see if they are registered according to laws and regulations.
Police said that in order to ensure safety on the streets, vehicles being driven on false registrations will be identified and action taken against persons responsible.
