Barubaree Mosque has been demolished, and construction is now underway to build a new three-storey mosque on the site.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced that the new mosque "Alisaafu" will be completed within 18 months.
Three storey most to be built on for Barubaree mosque site
The mosque is designed to accommodate 830 people at a time and features a terrace.
