The United States of America declared on Friday that they will assist the President-Elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's government in various areas.
US Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo called President-Elect Solih and congratulated him for winning the Presidential Election.
During the conversation, both parties discussed the transitional stage from one government to the other.
The US White House National Security Council (NSC) had also sent Solih congratulations. NSC stated that they look forward to strengthening the partnership between both the countries to promote security, prosperity, and democracy.
President-Elect Solih has been receiving greetings and support from several countries and international organizations since his win.
