The lucky winner of the Dhiraagu promotion, 'Win a Tesla' has been delivered the Tesla car during a ceremony held at Dhiraagu yesterday. The Model 3 White Tesla was awarded to a native of Kaafu atoll Thulusdhoo, Musthafa Ahmed.
Maldives' leading digital service provider, Dhiraagu has delivered the Tesla to the lucky winner of the 'Win a Tesla' promotion launched by the company on October last year.
The Model 3 White Tesla, which remains the most valuable prize offered by the company for a promotion was handed over yesterday during a ceremony held at the Dhiraagu headquarters.
The lucky winner announced at the draw held during the music show organized by Dhiraagu in Hulhumale' Central Park for Eid-al-Adha was a native of Kaafu atoll Thulusdhoo, Musthafa Ahmed. Musthafa's family also accompanied him to the ceremony held at Dhiraagu to deliver the car.
Musthafa had earlier said that he was initially in disbelief that he could have been selected as the winner to receive such a valuable prize. After several calls and text messages, he had accepted his lucky win, which, Musthafa said had brought extreme delight to his family and himself.
Dhiraagu stated that Mushthafa had remained a customer of the company since mobile phones were first introduced to Maldives. For the 20 years since, Musthafa has been using the number he had taken at the time without changing it.
The 'Win a Tesla' promotion launched by Dhiraagu on October last year to commemorate their 35th anniversary had concluded earlier this year on January.
Dhiraagu had previously stated that the promotion was by far the most highly applauded and largest promotion of the company.
