Amidst the growing trend of individuals relocating for education and employment, many find themselves separated from their hometowns and families. In such scenarios, parents eagerly yearn to reunite with their children.

STO has released a short brand film for this fasting month, depicting a family grappling with this very dilemma. The storyline revolves around a mother who longs to see her son, Faisal, after an extended period apart.

In the film, the mother reaches out to Faisal over the phone, relating to him about rumours circulating on the island regarding soaring vegetable prices. Faisal assures her that STO will maintain affordable prices throughout the fasting month. However, the mother's disappointment becomes palpable as she senses Faisal's hesitation when asked if he plans to return home for Ramadan.

The tone of the short film changes to one of celebration when Faisal decides to take his son and go to the island after consulting his wife.

Faisal's family's disappointment fades away and he brings smiles to his parents as Faisal and his son arrive on the island for the first day of Ramadan. In just a few minutes, the short film beautifully captures the joy and familial connection that ensues when they reunite after an extended period.

STO's impactful short film ends with happy family scenes conveying a strong message.
