Currently, the official quota allocated from Saudi to Maldives is 1,000. In some cases, an additional 1,000 has been granted.
The ministry distributes the quota among Hajj Corporation and other companies who have been granted permission to take people for the Islamic pilgrimage. However, a breakdown of quota distributions is yet to be revealed.
