Search on for Maldivian woman missing during Umrah

Hajj Corporation announced the search for a Maldivian woman who went missing during Umrah, the ongoing Islamic pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

The company’s Managing Director Ismail Hameed, on Monday, stated that the woman went missing during the ritual walk between the mountains Safa and Marwa on Saturday.

Her information was not made public.

A total of 84 people went on the pilgrimage under the care of the government company. Hameed mentioned that everyone was doing well.

“We have been searching for the woman 24/7”, he said.

There have been numerous cases of people going missing during the pilgrimages of Hajj and Umrah.
