Due to failure to abide by summons to court, the Criminal Court has ordered the Police to bring Mohamed Ubadath Hussain, native to Addu City, to the court by 1300 hrs tomorrow under custody.
Maldives Police Service has declared search for a man who has failed to attend court despite summons over the case of trafficking cannabis into the country.
Police stated that a search for this man is ongoing due to a mandate over them by the Criminal Court compelling them to present him to court under custody.
The man being sought accordingly with this order is 29 year old Mohamed Ubadath Hussain, from Addu atoll Hithadhoo, one of the islands located in the southernmost tip of Maldives.
Police revealed that the search for Ubadath is due to being unable to present him in court despite the Court issuing summons. The court has ordered the Police to present him to the Criminal Court while in custody by 13:00 hrs in the afternoon.
