Former State Minister Zifleena Hassan purchased an apartment from Hulhumalé.

Former State Minister Zifleena Hassan who served at the Gender Ministry during the administration of former president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has purchased an apartment in Hulhumalé costing MVR 3.5 million.
The 1,200 squarefoot apartment is from F.W Residences.
In a verdict yesterday, the Civil Court ruled that Zifleena now owns the flat as the total value of the apartment has been paid to Housing Development Corporation (HDC) in full.
Apart from her role as state minister, she also filled various positions at Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), the then ruling party.
Zifleena also ran for the parliamentary seat of south Thinadhoo constituency on an MDP ticket earlier this year, but lost to ruling party People's National Congress (PNC) candidate Mohamed Alsan Ahmed.
