Maldives Police Service arrested two men for multiple counts of sexual abuse in an island located withing the Upper North Police Division which comprises the atolls Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu and Shaviyani.
The police apprehended a 22-year-old man on Thursday and apprehended the second man, a 30-year-old on Friday.
The pair are accused of sexually assaulting two girls, aged 7 and 10, as well as a 13-year old boy over an extended period of time.
The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
