Honorary Consul of Maldives in Lahore, Pakistan, Muhammad Yawar Irfan Khan, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid.
Reportedly, the two discussed means of improving consular assistance to Maldivians as well as ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the areas of tourism and sports.

According to sources from the Ministry, the Consul noted a particular interest towards collaborating for the advancement of cricket in Maldives.
