"The Traveller" reopens office in Male' City yesterday, after it's closure due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The office was inaugurated by the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the Maldives A.M.J Sadig at Ma.Falhugiri.

The Traveller is a Sri Lankan travel company operating around the world. The company also provides hajj and Umrah transport services in the Maldives.

The Traveller initially opened their office in the Maldives in 2015. However, they had to close down due to changes in the travel and transport sector due to the pandemic.

Managing Director of The Maldives branch Adam Yameen said that the services provided by the company before its closure will be available. He said that the company had previously gained the trust of Maldivians and that they would work to maintain that trust in the future.

"As we reopen after the COVID-19 break, services such as ticketing, inbound tours, Umrah and Hajj visas will continue to be provided as usual," Yameen said.

The Traveller's partners include Emirates, Fly Dubai, Turkish Airlines, Indigo, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Etihad Airways, Air India, Qatar Airways and Sri Lankan which is the national airline of Sri Lanka.
