Ministry of Tourism released a statement, asking all travel agencies operating in the Maldives to submit their annual report for 2019 by the end of January 2020.
The deadline for submission is set for January 31, Friday, 1400 hrs.
It is mandatory for travel agencies to submit regular annual reports. The tourism ministry has the power to terminate permits to run the travel agency if an agency fails to comply.
According to statistics from the ministry, currently, 384 travel agencies operate in the Maldives.
