Supreme Court Judge Ali Hameed, who was arrested early on Tuesday morning, was rushed to the hospital midnight on Wednesday.

A source at state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) confirmed that the judge was rushed to the emergency room and that he appeared to be unconscious.

The police refused to comment on the matter.

The military had stormed the premises of the Supreme Court in the early hours of Tuesday and, after seven hours of occupying the area, arrested Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed, Judge Ali Hameed and Judicial Service Administrator Hassan Saeed.
