A team of media professionals representing various high-prominent media outlets have visited the Maldives on a tourism familiarization trip.
The media entourage arrived in Maldives on June 13 and will fly back home on Sunday.
The team arrived in the island nation for the familiarization on the official invitation from Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
MMPRC reports the team consisted of media professionals from some of the most renowned Indian outlets including Times of India, Financial Express, BW Business World, NDTV Food, and Travel Dine.
The Indian media entourage stayed in Kuramathi Maldives, The Residence Maldives and Noku Maldives during their trip.
Officials from MMPRC visited Kuramathi Maldives to meet with the media team and discussed with the reporters on broadening efforts to further promote the Maldivian tourism in the Indian market.
