Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Company (MMPRC) exhibited Maldives as a holiday destination at the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

A total of nine companies from the Maldivian Tourism Industry are participating in the consumer fair hosted in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from September 6-9.

Maldives' stalls, located within a 54 square metre area, showcase the country's beauty, cuisine and provide visitors with an option to experience natural scenery via virtual reality.

Faiymini Bodu Beru Group also performed at the MATTA Fair.

MMPRC stated that it would conduct discussions with Malaysian travel agencies and authorities to promote Maldives.

Initiated in 1991, this year's MATTA Fair features 1,396 booths by 292 travel companies and tourism organisations.
