Telecom giant Ooredoo Maldives on Thursday announced its partnership with Orca Media Group, as the Title Sponsor of Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2019.

TTM is an annual business-to-business event held to connect the local travel trade community to a global network of travel agents, presenting a diverse range of hoteliers to local and International travel professionals. The opening event, the TTM Summit, which focusses on 'Travel Technology & Analytics', aims to help the travel industry to unleash analytics, dynamic pricing, digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) potential to deliver customer loyalty and profit.

Regarding the partnership, Ooredoo Maldives' CEO Najib Khan stated, “TTM aims to facilitate the tourism industry of Maldives to reach the ultimate target of 2.5 million tourists with over $3.5 billion in receipts by the end of 2025. This vibrant platform and this year’s focus on “Travel Technology & Analytics”, greatly aligns with our commitment to Digital Maldives, as well as our efforts to support the digital transformation and growth of the tourism industry. It is our pleasure to continue our partnership with Orca Media Group, and take our support to TTM to the next level".

TTM 2019 will be held from June 11 – 13, with over 300 hoteliers, suppliers, related industries and travel professionals from Maldives and abroad expected to visit.
