COVID-19: Maldives record 84th death

Health Protection Agency (HPA) revealed on Sunday announced the 84th COVID-19 related death in Maldives.

According to the agency, the victim was a 51-years-old Maldivian female, who was brought to IGMH ER at 0445hrs.

She was a declared dead at 0546hrs.

Currently Maldives is experiencing a surge in the number of positive cases, with daily figures surpassing 700 on some days.

Subsequently, the number of fatalities are on the raise as well.
