The Champa brothers, Uchhu and Afeef received SATA's Face of South Asia awards today.
South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has presented two pioneers of Maldivian tourism, Mohamed Moosa (Uchhu), the Chairman of 'Champa Brothers', and Hussain Afeef, the Chairman of the Crown Company with the special 'Face of South Asia' award today.
The award was presented to the two brothers during a special ceremony held at Afeef's Meeru Resort by SATA's Vice President Suraj Khan. The award was in honour of their pivotal role in promoting the country's tourism industry.
2024 marks the 9th year of SATA, with this year's event held in Nepal.
'Champa Brothers' one of the key players of the tourism industry of Maldives at the moment, while Uchhu is also involved in agriculture, fisheries, real estate and the financial sector along with tourism.
