MATATO promotes Maldives at Worldmaster International Travel Mart

Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) advertised Maldives as a top tourist destination at the Worldmaster International Travel Mart (WITM) 2019 in Cebu, Philippines, on Monday.

The 7th instalment of WITM commenced on April 1 and is scheduled to conclude on April 3, in Manila. Over 400 exhibitors are registered for the expo.

As per WITM, the exhibition is designed to be one of the most productive B2B travel mart in the Philippines. The event boasts competitive buyers keen to promote inbound and outbound travel services, travel innovations, and extending partnerships with industry experts in the world.

According to local media Mihaaru, over five million Filipinos visited 42 destinations in 2018, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, China and the United Arab Emirates.

Prior to WITM, MATATO participated in the Riyadh Travel Fair 2019, the largest travel expo to take place in the Middle-East.

MATATO actively partakes in Maldives-centred advertisement efforts across various travel expos taking place over the world.
