She emphasized the importance of increased participation in Girl Guides by more and more female students.

The First Lady made these comments while speaking at a special ceremony held last night at Salahuddin School where she met with the Maldives contingent that would be travelling to Sri Lanka to attend the upcoming Ceylona 2024 International Camp in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka.

The camp is expected to have participation from 305 Girl Guides and 32 adults.

At the ceremony, the First Lady presented the national flag to the leader of the Maldivian delegation that will be attending this camp.
