Expats arrested over prostitution, three deported

Maldivian authorities have nabbed multiple foreigners involved in prostitution in the country.

In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), Maldives Immigration said that a total of nine expatriates were arrested for being involved in a wide prostitution ring, in a joint operation with Maldives Police Service.
