Applications open for Ooredoo Nation inter-resort e-sports championship

Applications are now open for Ooredoo Nation inter-resort e-sports championship.

Ooredoo said that this championship is aimed at encouraging building teamwork, friendly competition and digital engagement amongst resort workers as they have observed a rising interest in gaming and competition within resort communities.

Ooredoo said that this competition will also allow for resort workers to showcase their talents and sportsmanship outside a traditional hospitality setting.

The championship is scheduled to be held from April 27 to April 30. It will include games such as PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends, Bang Bang (MLBB). The championship will be conducted entirely online.

The company has also offered a prize pool of MVR 20,000 for the championship. MVR 5000 will be granted to the winners of each game, MVR 3000 to the runner up, and MVR 2000 for the second runner up.
