President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening ties with Saudi Arabia, stating his intention to continue working closely with the Saudi government.
President Muizzu made the remarks during a farewell courtesy call by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Maldives, Matrek bin Abdullah Al-Ajalin Al-Dosari, at the President’s Office today.
President Muizzu expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts in enhancing the bilateral relationship during his tenure and noted the progress made in cooperation between the two countries.
He also expressed hope for further strengthening of the relationship in the future.
In addition, President Muizzu thanked the Saudi government for the warm hospitality extended to him during his Umrah trip last May.
